Clearfield County Career and Technology Center (CCCTC) students collected many different items for local nursing home residents for donation to the National Technical Honor Society’s (NTHS) Community Service Project. April was community service month and this week is National Nursing Home week. Students donated enough items to make 100 bags for residents at Mt. Laurel Nursing Home. Mrs. Jessica McKendrick and Mrs. Kate Crawford, National Technical Honor Society advisors, organized the schoolwide donations so CCCTC could give back to the community. Residents across the county are still not permitted visitors. Please remember loved ones and residents in nursing homes and consider writing and making a card to let them know they are not forgotten during this time of restricted access to nursing homes.
