Gratitude Forest highlights appreciation

The gratitude forest at Bellefonte Area High School is meant to recognize the things the school community is most thankful for, and it comes most with the things money can’t buy. At the same time, it’s meant to help raise money for a good cause.

Student council adviser and teacher Heather Huntsinger said for every leaf sold, a dollar would be donated to the school’s mini-Thon that supports the Four Diamonds fund. The Four Diamonds fund benefits families impacted by childhood cancer.

Many of the leaves included friends, family and good health for what many were thankful for the most.
