Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation names principals MVPs

Mr. Adam Zunic, Gill Hall principal, and Justin Liberatore, McClellan principal, were recognized as one of 16 principals from Allegheny County as Penguins Most Valuable Principals (MVP).This program, highlighting the amazing work done over this past year, recognizes principals who demonstrate an innovative approach to learning, a continuous strive for excellence and a passion for their school and students.

This is the first year for the program, which is sponsored by the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation, in partnership with the Allegheny Intermediate Unit and the Grable Foundation. The goal of the program is to recognize hard-working and deserving principals, especially those who have gone above and beyond for their communities during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mr. Zunic and Mr. Liberatore will receive a monetary donation for their schools and a bag of Pittsburgh Penguins goodies including a personalized jersey! Congratulations to both Adam Zunic and Justin Liberatore as well-deserved recipients!
