Student entrepreneurs shine at Final Pitch

The TJHS INCubatoredu Entrepreneurship Class pitched their best business concepts to the Board of Advisors (aka “Friendly Sharks”) as part of the Final Pitch held on May 20, 2021. Pitch Night is modeled after the ABC TV series “Shark Tank,” where teams of students present their best product or service pitch to a panel of judges, aka “Sharks.” The Sharks, or Board of Advisors, are comprised of local business leaders who facilitated the event by asking each INCubatoredu team a series of questions to determine if their business concept had true potential and is worthy of investment. After all of the teams presented, the judges had the challenging task of awarding the best overall pitch and the opportunity to move on and compete for funding dollars at the National INCubatoredu Student Pitch competition this summer in Chicago. The Final Pitch event is the culmination of the INCubatoredu year-long academic program for these student entrepreneurs, and this was their time to shine!

Four amazing teams of student entrepreneurs participated in the Final Pitch:

NattyNRG – a healthy, all-natural alternative to energy drinks currently on the market
Chris Pham
Aiden Mohideen
Ian Karel

TJ Mask Company – a compatible antimicrobial case that allows you to safely store your mask while sanitizing using the mask case.
Kyler Bender
Luke Leccia

Cutter Coaster – a drink holder created that attaches to your lawn mower while mowing the lawn for both professional landscapers and homeowners to stay well hydrated and save time.
Luke Regna
Angelo Volomino
Jimmy Passanante
John McCann

CARganizer – a compact and convenient car organizer to keep the car clean and organized.
Anna Vogtsberger
Luke Pletz
Josh Neidermeyer

The winner of this year’s Final Pitch was Cutter Coasters!

Congratulations to Mrs. Kostella and all of the INCubatoredu students on their hard work and impressive presentations! Thank you to all of the Board of Advisors, Coaches and Mentors for their time, feedback and guidance!
