Students, including Evan Eisentrout, Kaden Webber and Carson Collins, enjoyed the games and the experience reinforced the material they have been studying.

Students in Mrs. Kristi Sines’ seventh grade Geography class enjoyed a unique method of learning for their unit on Eurasia and World War II. Thanks to the generosity of a grant through the Somerset County Chapter of PASR (Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees), Sines was able to purchase World War II Monopoly games. These games, similar to the iconic original, provide students with a unique method of learning about Pearl Harbor, D-Day and other key battles of this war. Due to pandemic restrictions after purchase, Sines was unable to incorporate the games into her curriculum until this school year. Students, including Emma Hobbs, Morgan Stair and Chloee Knudsen, enjoyed the games and the experience reinforced the material they have been studying.
