Students learn about college applications and career development

Neil A. Armstrong’s School Counseling Department hosted College and Career Day for eighth grade students on January 12, 2021. Admission representatives made virtual presentations from the following colleges and universities: Bucks County Community College, Holy Family University, LaSalle University and Penn State University.

Students learned what choices they need to make during high school to meet the admission requirements of the college or university of their choice. Admission representatives discussed electives to take in high school, volunteer opportunities to consider and the importance of earning good grades.

“We are so grateful to the admission representatives for keeping the Armstrong tradition by presenting virtually to our students for our ninth annual College and Career Day during the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Karla Davis Jones, school counselor. “The students received timely information as they prepare for high school next year.”
