Students race through obstacles during the Blair Mill Fun Run.

Blair Mill Elementary students ran through hula hoops, raced through agility ladders, soared through tires and scaled four-foot walls during the Blair Mill Fun Run on October 20, 2021. More than $5,000 was raised for the school. This obstacle course was created to support and thank families of Blair Mill for working hard to raise money for their school.

Principal Dr. Elisha Gee agreed to kiss Pumpkin the pig if $5,000 or more was raised. Blair Mill exceeded their goals and Gee ended up kissing the pig twice – once during the grade K-2 kick-off and again during the grade 3-5 kick-off. Each grade level was given 30 minutes to run through the course.

Blair Mill Elementary School partnered with CrossFit Generation for the use of their equipment to make this event possible.
