Students wrote letters, which will be dispersed to veterans by the Wounded Warrior Project.

In honor of Veterans Day this year, Mrs. Gravuer and Ms. Rutecki’s eighth grade classes at Armstrong Middle School helped raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project. Since 2003, Wounded Warrior Project has been meeting the growing needs of warriors, their families and caregivers — helping them achieve their highest ambition.

Armstrong raised more than $500 so far by selling wristbands and accepting donations through Mrs. Gravuer’s fundraising page. Donations to the Wounded Warrior Project are still being accepted.

The students also wrote letters, which will be dispersed to veterans by the Wounded Warrior Project. Armstrong faculty and staff shared pictures of the veterans in their lives to help honor them and their service to our country.
