On March 4, 2020, the Thomas Jefferson High School Best Buddies Club participated in Inclusion Day, the global movement to build a more inclusive world for people with intellectual disabilities and make Inclusion the norm!

Best Buddies Club members encouraged all TJHS students and staff to donate $1 to their cause and sign their Inclusion pledge to show support for ALL students. A special video created by club members was shown to the entire high school to spread awareness of Inclusion Day and their pledge-signing efforts.

TJHS Best Buddies collected over 100 pledge signatures and handed out Inclusion bracelets that they designed to everyone who participated. A dinner fundraiser was held that evening at Texas Road House in Pleasant Hills, PA.

At the end of the day, Best Buddies collected over $400 to support future club activities and events which promote Inclusion.
