TJHS students prove physics is fun

Thomas Jefferson High School Students in Mrs. Kuhse’s physics classes were busy investigating the behavior and properties of waves in the Slinky Lab! Using a Slinky and spring, the students are able to calculate the speed of waves they create and investigate how waves are able to superimpose. This lab is social-distance friendly, as the students are set up to be at least 2 meters apart for every step. Canvas students completed a virtual Slinky Lab online during the same time. It was a great way to engage students and have fun with physics!
